Is Blanket Necessary in the Summer for Babies?
In many religions and cultures, using the blanket in the summer is customary. At the same time, some parents choose not to use any blankets in the summer, either due to the warm weather. Overheating for a baby could be fatal as it could result in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The bedding arrangement should always be appropriate to the season and temperature of the room in which the baby sleeps. Experts advise the use of cotton baby wrapper blanket as it enables airflow and thereby prevents overheating. For a baby, a room temperature of 18-20ÂșC is recommended.
